I have a couple of ideas about the elections.

First I think we should solicit volunteers and maybe nominations. Mainly, though, I think it would be good to find out who wants to be on the board.

From this group I think we should allow each member to vote for 5 people (or even up to 8 since there are 8 board members). At this point the top 8 would be the board. Then these 8 would get together and choose officers among themselves.

This would eliminate the chance that the 2 most gung-ho members would compete for one position (President for example) and only one of them would end up on the board.

Any comments?
