The lake is in for 2011!!!!!! Due to some capacity upgrades it is bigger and more intimidating than ever and will come into play on holes 2 and 4 as well as 8. Still the water remains as clear and shallow as ever making disc retrieval a cinch Laughing .

Also, we have a sponser this year Very Happy . Rock at Triple Play is donating prizes to be awarded to the overall league winners. This will allow us to take the cash collected for the overall ($1 per round) and donate it to the Colorado State Championships this fall. It should be a winning situation for all.

I hope to everyone Thursday night.

Tim.

PS... I will have tags for sale if anyone needs one.

League news:

Ace pool this week $45 (come and get it).

It should be good weather this week for a change.

We have raised over $50 for States (so far).

We are going to try out a couple new holes this week that should be fun and interesting.

I hope to see everyone out there.

Tim.

Three more weeks of league left at Westlake. No aces yet (I think this is the longest we've ever gone) so the ace pool is up to

!
$ 6 0
$ ! $ 6 0 0
$! 6 0 0
!$ 6 6 0 0
$ ! $ 6 6 0 0
$ 6 0
!

Come get 'um while they're still easy (it's not too late to start).

The funny thing was the aces came on two longer alternate holes. #3 from the sidewalk and #9 from the road.

I'm thinking of moving to Fruita for June instead of Matchett, start time of 6:00.

Any comments?

I think you should stay on your predetermined plan. We will be playing at Fruita later in the year. After the palisade league. I do not want you to start a conflict with Fruita. If you want to talk about what I mean call me.

Bill,

I've tried to call a couple of times and left messages. What kind of conflict do you think I will start with Fruita? I sure don't want to cause any problems, but then again , I would like to get out there and play. Isn't it open yet? JC said he recieved a text that there was a grand opening last weekend. let me know.

Westlake league is changing to Machett beginning this week (6-2). I hope to see everyone there.

(Brian or Josh would you put this on the front page? Thanks, Tim)
(Bill, please return my calls)

ABSOLUTELY!!! I like that idea of singles play, no handicap and earning ratings points.
Also it will help establish course ratings for our courses here in the valley.
Nice find Tim.
