Come play the 2011 Colorado State Disc Golf Championships on the Western Slope at one of the best courses in Colorado, and the brand new course in Fruita. Nothing beats disc golf in the Fall on the Western Slope of Colorado. Click the name of each course for a map to the course.

Riverbend Park Disc Golf Course located in beautiful Palisade, Colorado. This course is surrounded by majestic Mesas and the Colorado River, this is a course is a must play. The course is being played in an alternate layout for the final 27 holes for Pros that includes several original holes with a mix of new temporary holes. Your skills will be tested against the mid morning winds, water canals, ponds, OB hazards and the magnificent & unforgiving Colorado River. The second course is newly installed this year in Fruita, CO.

Fruita Riverfront DGC is located just off the Colorado River with fantastic views of the Colorado National Monument, Bookcliffs, and the Colorado River. Course plays through some small arroyo, with cotton-wooded fairways on the soft dirt you would find in a river bed, and some open shots that will challenge your arm and accuracy to stay out of the rough. A nice mix of short and long holes, with time this course will develop into a top tier course in the state.

There is the James Robb State Park right next to the course on the other side of the river that has camping. If camping isn't for you, check out the three hotels just north of the course, La Quinta, Motel 8 and Comfort Inn. It is recommended you stay in Fruita for the best prices on lodging and the most food choices.
Pros will play one, 18 hole round at the Fruita Riverfront Course on Saturday morning, then head over to Palisade for the afternoon round of 18 holes. Sunday 27 hole layout await the Pros at Palisade's Riverbend Park. The AMs will play one 18 hole round on Saturday morning at Riverbend Park in Palisade, and then head on over to experience the new Riverfront Disc Golf Course in Fruita. They will finish out the tournament with one 18 hole round on Sunday at Riverfront, and finish with enough time to get over to Riverbend in Palisade to watch the Pros.

There will be no Junior division unless there are at least four Juniors, under 16 signed up. Divisions with less than four players will be moved up to the next available division at the TD's discretion.
Make sure to get your entry in early and don't forget to mark your shirt size. Also if you are not a current member of the PDGA, you will be required to join or renew to play this event.
